Established 2002: Celebrating 14 Years of Living, Learning and Loving The Arts

Primary Arts Network Ipswich is a voluntary ARTS network, that is passionate about children and their engagement in The Arts.  PANI provides a range of arts services for all urban and rural schools, teachers, pre-service teachers, art teachers and teaching artists from across the disciplines (visual arts, dance, drama, media and music) within its region – Ipswich (Queensland Australia)


Primary Arts Network Ipswich activities include:

* Development and implementation of arts workshops and community gallery programs for students

* Provision of professional development workshops and conferences in the Arts for teachers, pre service teachers, art teachers and teaching artists

* Provision of Artist-in-Residencies (AiR) projects in schools and their community

* Identification of resources and services to support Arts education

* Provision of advice and advocacy for Arts Education

*Advocacy for the role of Professional Artists / Teaching Artists in Education

*Support for Arts Research through collegial partnership with The University of Southern Queensland -Springfield


PANI's  challenge is to engage all students in quality Arts education. Since its establishment in 2002 over 2477 students have participated in AiR’s; 2500 teachers have benefitted from Professional Development in The Arts  and 26 artists have worked in schools. The program’s success has been validated and recognised through research and state awards.
